Supersets are an excellent way to provide efficiency in a training session and program. A superset is when you pair two exercises intentionally together, completing them consecutively then resting before performing another set.
I have always referred to you, my team, as athletes - athletes in sport and athletes in life. It’s a special part of TRAINING2XL because I grew up as an athlete and still consider myself one today.

I try not to play favourites when it comes to exercises, but I can’t help myself with these three. Each of these movements is a staple piece in the programming I write for my athletes, as well as myself.
This is something you will hear me refer to a lot. With both my athletes in sport and athletes in life, I constantly remind them to focus on the QUALITY of their training, as opposed to the quantity of it.
As a strength and conditioning coach, I am all about building a solid foundation. I want my athletes in sport and athletes in life to be really good at the simple things - the squat, hinge, press, pull, lunge, carry etc.
Don't be fooled by the title, I don't actually believe that. I was raised in a family where "you play ball like a girl" was a compliment. I was raised to believe that I am NOT at a disadvantage because I'm a woman, and I should not be treated any differently because I am.
I do believe that developing a programming system definitely takes time, practice, and trial-and-error. It will also most likely vary depending on the demographic you work with, so it is important to figure out a process that not only makes things streamline for you, but also clear for the individual(s) on the receiving end.
